About Our Club
Founded in 2010 on a shared love of cycling and community, Naples Velo Bicycle Club brings together more than 450 members from Naples, Southwest Florida, and around the world. Our mission is simple: to create a cycling community that is fun, safe, and welcoming to riders of all ages and skill levels — both on and off the bike.
We host organized group rides every day of the week, offering two to three pace groups to suit a variety of riding styles and experience levels.
Beyond the road, we organize off-the-bike events, socials, and member parties that strengthen our community and celebrate our partnerships with local sponsors.
Especially during season (late December through April), visitors to the area add to the strength and diversity of the rides. The coffee rides grow with riders eager to make new friends and experience the beauty of southwest Florida. The faster rides - well they gets faster - as elite team camps and collegiate racers contribute to pull the group to KOMs and personal bests.
Each year, we hold the Jean Heuschen Memorial Ride, honoring the memory of a fallen member. The ride draws 150–200 cyclists from across the country, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Naples Pathways Coalition, our advocacy partner dedicated to improving road safety and protecting cyclists throughout our region.
At Naples Velo, we believe cycling connects people — across neighborhoods, generations, and continents. Whether you’re a local, a snowbird, or visiting from abroad, you’re invited to join us for a ride and become part of our growing cycling family.
